Why a herb garden?

A decision to grow useful plants may have roots in a love for nature, or because one comes across enticing culinary, medicinal, and other uses all of a sudden. It is tempting to procure seeds and cuttings from every available source, and to start planting as soon as possible.
To help control the growing of your herbs, select the right size of containers. Smaller pots or containers will restrict the growth of your herbs while bigger pots or containers will allow enough room for your plants to grow at a faster rate.

Those who use a lot of herbs for seasoning and appreciate having a supply of fresh products can put in a basic herb garden to grow the ones used the most. Most of the most common herbs used as spices in cooking can be successfully grown in average soil but some do request rich soil, such as oregano.Since your indoor herb gardens are not exposed to direct sunlight, the soil may not dry up fast.
